House Budget Proposal Adopts Our Priorities
We applaud the House for proposing a budget that not only expands Medicaid, but also fully restores Medicaid adult dental, a decision recognizing that dental services are critical to the overall health of our communities. We stand by the House in their commitment to protecting the health of the whole patient and realizing the many benefits of expanding Medicaid. Their choice means a savings to the state of $266 million, $1 billion in federal funding, 10,000 new jobs and health insurance coverage for more than 250,000 of our friends and neighbors.
With the end of legislative session within sight, our work will be focused on ensuring the Legislature adopts this sensible and compassionate approach in its final state budget.
Join us in this effort through our grassroots advocacy campaign, Save Health Care in Washington.
